Christine sat in front of the mirror, brushing her long curls while she stared at the engagement ring hanging on the chain around her neck that Raoul had given her. Now that Erik was out of their lives, what was next?

Raoul smiled as he knocked on Christine door, he looked at the rose he he for her and hoped she would like it. He was going to properly ask her to marry him.

Christine smiled. "Come in," she said, running her finger over the chain.

Raoul smiled as he walked in "Hello." he said as he hid the rose behind his back.

Christine's smile grew when she saw him. "Raoul," she said happily.

Raoul smiled brightly as he kissed her softly.

Raoul smiled softly as he pulled away "Christine i have something to ask you."

Christine looked at him confused. "What is it Raoul?"

Raoul got down on one knee "I want to ask you again. Will you marry me Christine Daae?" he asked as he held the rose out for her.

Christine smiled and took the rose before pulling Raoul to his feet and kissing him again. "Absolutely," she said when she broke away.

Raoul smiled and said softly "Oh my love this is one of the happiest moment of my life."

"Mine too Raoul," Christine said.

Raoul smiled before they heard a knock on the door, Raoul opened door and saw nobody there, he shut the door again before looking done and seeing a note.

Christine sighed softly. "Not now....."

Raoul picked up the note and looked at Christine.
